Who We Are
CG PSC-EPM-3 is a proposed new branch under development within the EPM division to manage the Enlisted Employee Review System (EERS) and to serve as the primary source of information and guidance for the EER policy and process.
Please monitor this webpage for updates on information and guidance regarding the EERS. FAQs and a email address will be created to address questions and concerns not otherwise addressed in current policy
Upcoming Changes to the Enlisted Employee Review System
The current Enlisted Employee Review System performance standards are out-dated and no longer effectively support the myriad human resources decisions for the active duty and reserve enlisted workforce. The Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard and CG-1 chartered a joint work group to revise the EERS in order for it to remain an effective expectations management tool (member); performance management tool (supervisor); and talent management tool (organization).
Communication of the revised EERS will begin in the Fall of 2017. Below are the projected milestones for the rollout of the revised EERS:
- New EERS performance standards with the approved changes and FAQs will be available in October 2017.
- New policy will be released in early January 2018.
- Unit outreach and training materials will be provided during January through March of 2018.
- New evaluation system for all enlisted members will be implemented for official use on March 1, 2018.
