Shore Safety

The primary objective of the Shore Safety Program is to support Coast Guard Office of Safety and Environmental Health (CG-113) mission, vision and values by providing safety oversight and advocacy for shore-based personnel and infrastructure. The Shore Safety oversees the safety and environmental health programs of all shore-based facilities and sectors, including, but not limited to: Fire Safety; Motor Vehicle Safety; Confined Space Safety; Emergency Preparedness; Sector Prevention Operations; and Incident Response, through the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of hazards to USCG personnel and their dependents.
