By CWO2 James McElroy, Coast Guard Pay & Personnel Center , ,

In continuing the Procedures and Development Branch's "Guide of the Week" email series, here are this week's guides.  In this edition, we are highlighting one user guide of particular interest to all Administrative and SPO personnel, and one of general interest to the fleet.

This week's guides:

  • Do you know how timeliness can effect pay processing for Reserve members? Do you know the role Job Data rows play in paying Reservists? There's a guide for that!

    Understanding Reserve Pay Processing.
  • The holiday season is here. Have you submitted your absence requests yet? There's a guide for that!

      -  Self-Service Absence Request.

New tutorial:

Do you need to know what duty (IDT, RMP, FHD, ADT, etc.) a Reservist performed in a fiscal year? There's a tutorial for that! - Reserve All Duty Report.

Please note that PPC has integrated the Human Capital Management

(HCM) Military Human Resource Business Process Standardization (MHR-BPS) Process Models into the Topic links on our Guide and tutorial page, these will assist you in your understanding of the process flow and roles regarding the selected topic.

And here's the link to all of our user guides.
