Subscribers will also be notified when active duty and reserve payslips are posted and of both scheduled and unscheduled outages affecting the Direct Access personnel system or the TPAX travel claim liquidation system. Beginning in October 2018 members of the Coast Guard and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) can manage their Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI) coverage using the SGLI Online Enrollment System (SOES). Coast Guard and NOAA members join the Army, Navy Air Force, and Marine Corps in using the new system.

Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Enlisted Bonus Programs
This ACN announces the results of the Enlisted Workforce Planning Team (EWPT). The EWPT convened from 11-12 June 2018 to deliberate and recommend workforce policy interventions to the Assistant Commandant for Human Resources (CG-1). Interventions include non-monetary policy changes, Enlistment Bonuses (EB), Critical Skills Training Bonuses (CSTB), Selective Reenlistment Bonuses (SRB), and Critical Skills Retention Bonuses (CSRB).

Retiring from Active Duty? Take Action, Make an Enrollment Choice
When you retire from active duty, your TRICARE plan options will change. Retiring from active duty is a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). A QLE allows you to enroll in a new TRICARE plan or change your coverage options within 90 days of the live event. As a retiree, you'll need to take action to enroll in a TRICARE plan if you want to continue to receive coverage for civilian care.

Operational ID and Cost Center for Hurricane Lane
The Hurricane Lane Operational ID is 0000000120. This is vital to enter in the "contingency" section when completing any Title 14 Reserve Active Duty Orders. The cost center is 79839. This cost center should be linked to all obligations and expenditures resulting from hurricanes impacting CG operations.
Take your mandatory transition training
All members are required to take pre-separation counseling on the Learning Management System (LMS) or a transition seminar. Members are authorized to begin their transition one year out from separation or two years out from retiring. Just released: Natural Disaster Guide
A new Natural Disaster Guide for Military has been released to give Coast Guard employees and their families a quick reference for travel entitlements associated with evacuation, mobilization, and deployment.
