SUBJ: RESERVE ASSIGNMENT YEAR 2019 (AY19) LIEUTENANT 
COMMANDER TO ENSIGN SHOPPING LISTS

1. The Reserve Lieutenant Commander to Ensign AY19 open 
positions are available in spreadsheet format on the PSC-
RPM website: http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/PSC/RPM/RPM-2/Assignments 
- Click Assignment Year 2019. These positions reflect the 
current state of the Personnel Allowance List (PAL). Should 
there be changes to the current state of these positions, 
updates will be posted on this site.
2. Reserve junior officer positions will be open for e-
Resume submission in Direct Access from 13 NOVEMBER 2018 to 
13 JANUARY 2019.  
3. E-Resume procedures:  All candidates who meet the 
criteria in REF A for reassignment in AY19 must apply for 
positions in Direct Access using the PCS e-Resume link, 
found by following: Employee - Tasks - PCS e-Resumes. Once 
there, enter Recruitment Type – SELRES PCS, Business Unit – 
Officer CG and desired search criteria to obtain a list of 
open billets. Search criteria may include state, job code, 
position number, etc. If unsure of the specific criteria, 
click on the magnifying glass to the right of the search 
box to determine eligible values. Fields such as Job Code 
and Job Family will narrow the search results based on rank 
and component (officer, enlisted, etc.). A PCS e-Resume 
user guide can be found at 
http://www.dcms.uscg.mil/ppc/pd/da/. Select Self Service 
and navigate to eResume (PCS) – Procedure Guide (PDF).
4. Due to Direct Access limitations, any previously 
submitted e-Resumes will not be visible to assignment 
officers and should be resubmitted if assignment officer 
action is desired.
