PPC Telephone System Outage

Direct-Access Planned Maintenance Outage
Direct Access will not be available from Monday, December 19, 2022 at 23:01 (CST ) until Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at 22:59 (CST). This outage is necessary to ensure members' pay and benefits are updated to reflect the 2023 pay rates and other regulatory changes, which include COLA, BAH, and tax rates. See ALCOAST 455/22 for more information.
Subscribers to this list will receive notices and information on Coast Guard military pay and personnel policy and procedures. Subscribers will also be notified when active duty and reserve payslips are posted and of both scheduled and unscheduled outages affecting the Direct Access personnel system or the TPAX travel claim liquidation system. Additionally, subscribers will be updated when important information is posted to the Pay and Personnel Center's internet site.

SUBJ: FY22 PCS TRAVEL POET GUIDANCE
1. This guidance applies to FY22 PCS Travel Orders.
2. PCS orders that were issued in FY22 shall use the FY22 POET
funding that was assigned to the orders set. This rule applies
regardless of when the actual travel occurs for the member.
3. According to the Bona Fide Need rule (31 USC, Sec. 1502), all
PCS entitlements shall be obligated in the fiscal year the orders
are approved regardless of travel occurring across the next fiscal
year. Under no circumstances shall an FY23 POET be assigned in lieu
of the original FY22 POET.
4. This rule applies to all travel entitlements that accompany the
PCS move to include: Member Travel, Dependent Travel, Dislocation
Allowance, Household Goods, Privately Owned Vehicle, Non-Temporary
Storage, Temporary Lodging Allowance, Temporary Lodging Expense, and
Personally Procured Move.
