Inactive Duty Training (IDT) Subsistence Allowance While Drilling Remotely
ACN 054/20 promulgates policy regarding IDT subsistence allowance, formally IDT COMRATS, for enlisted reservists performing paid Inactive Duty for Training (IDT), Readiness Management Period (RMP), or Additional Training Period (ATP) drills remotely.
Coast Guard enlisted reservists who are authorized to conduct training remotely are not authorized a subsistence allowance for periods of IDT, RMP, or ATP performed at their home, regardless of the duration of those periods.
Catastrophic Cap Credit for Some TRICARE Households
Since Jan. 1, 2018, enrollment fees for TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Select, and the US Family Health Plan (USFHP) haven't been applied to the annual TRICARE family catastrophic cap for certain households. The Defense Health Agency is working to fix this issue. This issue only affects those TRICARE-eligible households who exceeded or came close to exceeding their catastrophic cap in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Several new pay and allowances are now available to members and their dependents. These entitlements are part of the overall military effort to support our members during the COVID-19 pandemic, and include:
Hardship Duty Pay – Restriction of Movement,
COVID-19 Related Galley Meals,
Basic Allowance for Subsistence II (BAS-II),
Continuation of Special and Incentive Pays, and,
Family Stability Act (BAH and Housing Flexibility).

Coast Guard Weight and Body Fat Standards Program Update
ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice (ACN) 033/20 modifies ACN 112/19, the one-year Body Composition Pilot program.
