Please submit all customer inquiries via e-mail to PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. This is the recommended action because phone calls (including voicemail messages) are manually entered into the PPC ticket tracking system which may cause delays in service. If e-mail is not available to you, please feel free to call (866) 772-8724 or (785) 339-2200; telephone support is provided 0730 to 1600 (Central Time), Monday through Friday. PPC is closed on Federal holidays.

Changes to Retiree ID Renewal Rules
Homeland Security Directive 12 now requires retirees and family members seeking to renew or replace a military identification card to provide two types of ID
PLEASE NOTE: Many people will try opening a PDF form and find that they get an error that says "Please wait." Follow these instructions for opening the DD-2656 and other advanced PDF forms.
Necessary forms are listed in the Retirement Package and can be accessed online. Please complete the forms and worksheets legibly. We strongly recommend you fill them out online using the Adobe Acrobat program on the Coast Guard, PHS, or NOAA Standard Workstation. Completion of the Data for Payment of Retired Personnel Form (DD-2656) is mandatory to establish your account so you can be paid on time. The completed DD-2656 must be scanned and attached to a PPC Help Ticket to PPC (RAS) at least 90 days prior to your date of retirement.

Coast Guard, PHS, and NOAA personnel with questions on completing the DD-2656 should contact PPC (RAS) via email to PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. Coast Guard, PHS, and NOAA personnel must not contact the Defense Finance Account Service (DFAS) for assistance or submit completed DD-2656 forms to DFAS. PPC (RAS) establishes and maintains retired pay accounts for Coast Guard, PHS, and NOAA personnel; DFAS provides retired pay support to members of DoD components.
2021 Military Retiree Paydays
Note: Retiree paydays are always on the first day of the month. If the first day of the month falls on a weekend, the pay date will move to the last business day of the payroll month.
Availability of Funds
The Department of Treasury's Financial Management Service (FMS) Kansas City Provides Payment, Collections and Financial Reporting services to the U. S. Coast Guard. FMS has recently undertaken a number of modernization efforts. One of these efforts is called Payment Application Modernization (PAM) which will help FMS process agency payment requests in a more efficient and cost effective manner.
In accordance with NACHA Operating Rules, consumer payments (i.e., Federal salary and travel payments, benefit payments) must be made available for withdrawal no later than the opening of business on the settlement date (provided the entries are made available to the Receiving Depositary Financial Institution (RDFI) by its ACH operator no later than 5:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the settlement date). Corporate payments (i.e., vendor payments, non-benefit payments) must be made available for withdrawal on the settlement date.

All members are required to take pre-separation counseling on the Learning Management System (LMS) or a transition seminar. Members are authorized to begin their transition one year out from separation or two years out from retiring. Retiree\Veterans Events Schedule
The Retiree\Veterans Events Schedule includes a worldwide listing of retiree appreciation days (RAD), seminars, town hall meetings, stand downs, clinics, resource\career fairs and other military retiree\veterans related events. The schedule is updated on an almost daily basis to include advertised retiree\veterans events that are obtained from .GOV, .MIL, veterans service organizations' websites and input from interested personnel.
