PPC Call Center Phone Contact Update

Effective Monday, 11 May 2020, PPC's Call Center will resume taking live phone calls.  

The phone number for PPC Customer Care is 1-866-772-8724 and the hours of operation are 0700 - 1600 Central Time.

All customers are encouraged to submit trouble tickets through electronic means, if possible. You can submit a trouble ticket by emailing PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. For those with CG Portal access, you can submit the online trouble ticket form found at https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/units/ppc/SitePages/Contact Us.aspx. Thank you!

2020 PCS Season - Vehicle Shipping (Flag Voice 524)

To allow flexibility in risk based decisions in PCS moves, the Coast Guard has temporarily adjusted the policy regarding shipping personal vehicles on government orders to and from OCONUS. As announced in ALCOAST 221/20:

• The current Coast Guard policy which designates authorized Port of Embarkation (POE), Port of Debarkation (POD), and Vehicle Processing Centers (VPCs) as the closest to service member’s old and new permanent duty station is suspended until 31 December 2020.

• Members may utilize the POE/POD/VPC of their choosing for the government funded shipping of personal vehicles to and from OCONUS as long as that facility is the closest to their old PDS, new PDS, or along the direct route between the two.

• The PCS Assist team, along with my staff in CG-13, stand ready to help our members with any PCS related questions they may have.

This temporary change is meant to allow for the safest travel possible. Leaders are encouraged to help their members create the safest plans possible for this year’s PCS Season.
