Personnel & Reserve Force Readiness Division (LOG-1)
LOG-1 is responsible for total workforce management support of 5,200+ active duty, reservists, and civilians across the LOGCOM enterprise. LOG-1 oversees surge staffing coordination and mobilization efforts in conjunction with contingency management evolutions. LOG-1 is the principal Reserve Force advisor to LOGCOM, directing training/readiness of 1000+ SELRES within DCS and DCP enabling Reserve Force readiness. LOG-1 also provides Civilian Resource Coordinator (CRC) responsibilities.
Base Operations Division (LOG-3)
LOG-3 serves as the first line supervisor to all Base Commanding Officers, providing enterprise-wide management and control of day-to-day operations.
LOG-3 integrates the delivery of field-level mission support to the Area and District Commanders for steady-state, planned, and emergent operations. LOG-3 coordinates between the Bases and the DCS/DCP Logistic Centers and Service Centers, balancing technical business discipline with emerging regional mission support requirements.
Contingency & Deployable Logistics Division (LOG-4)
LOG-4 reviews and coordinates overall Deputy Commandant for Systems (DCS) and Deputy Commandant for Personnel (DCP) participation in various exercises internal to the USCG and external with DoD and DHS with regard to operational plans, doctrine and policy, and maintains the USCG Contingency Support Plan 9930.
Resource Management Division (LOG-8)
LOG-8 serves as the primary advisor and point of contact for all LOGCOM financial resource and budget matters. Advising LOGCOM on resource matters that may degrade mission support delivery performed by LOGCOM staff or bases.
Procurement & Contracting Division (LOG-9)
The Operations Logistics Command (LOGCOM) Contracting & Procurement Division (LOG-9) is responsible for contract & procurement (C&P) execution (solicitation, award, administration, and closeout of all contracts) and other acquisition instruments (purchase orders, Government Commercial Purchase Card (P-Card), Interagency agreements, etc.) providing leadership and coordination for four Contracting Branches in two offices in Norfolk, Virginia and Alameda, California including a combined 25 Area, Base, and Training Center C&P offices supporting various fleet and shore subordinate units under the Deputy Commandant for Mission Support and Deputy Commandant for Operations.
Expeditionary Logistics Division (LOG-X)
Delivered expeditionary mission support across eight global regions, including the Arctic, Antarctic, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Bering Sea, and the Gulf of America.
