Coast Guard Assigns Fifth C-27J To Air Station Sacramento

The Coast Guard assigned its fifth operational C-27J Spartan medium range surveillance aircraft, CGNR 2713, to Air Station Sacramento, California, Feb. 26, 2017. Sacramento is the first air station to receive C-27Js; it is scheduled to receive its sixth Spartan and reach full operational capability by the end of fiscal year 2017. The air station reached initial operational capability upon receipt of its fourth C-27J last July. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
