SUBJ: MLINQS PCS TRAVEL SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION COMPLETE
A.COMCOGARD PSC WASHINGTON DC 261756Z JUL 23/ALCGPSC 089/23
1.Effective 21 January 2025, MOVELINQS (mLINQS) shall be used to process all PCS travel. The final implementation is complete and mLINQS is now fully integrated with Direct Access and FSMS, allowing it to be the sole travel management system for PCS from start to finish. Yeomen no longer need to perform the manual workaround that was in use with ETS. This will reduce workloads on our YNs and speedup the overall process.
2.For the average member executing PCS orders, the process will not change greatly; travelers will continue to work with their unit's Admin office to create PCS authorizations. However, once the PCS is complete, members will be able to use the new Employee Portal in mLINQS to complete PCS travel vouchers.
3.mLINQS will continue to evolve to meet our workforce needs. Later in 2025, mLINQS will add functionality enabling travelers to make PCS travel reservations directly within the system.
4.PPC sponsored multiple mLINQS training seminars throughout 2024.Links to these training sessions can be found on PPC's SharePoint site, and will enable members to better navigate the Coast Guard's new PCS travel system.
5.For mLINQS news, updates, and training resources, visit PPC's mLINQS travel webpage and SharePoint site at PPC's mLINQS travel page and PPC SharePoint page:(Copy and Paste URL Below into Browser) https://www.dcms.uscg.mil/ppc/travel/
