1. This message announces the implementation of the updated Record of Professional Development Form CG-4082.
2. The updated CG-4082 will increase the effectiveness of this career management tool for CG members.
3. The updated CG-4082 as well as a detailed summary of changes to the form and an FAQ document can be found on PSC-OPM-4’s SharePoint homepage at https://uscg.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/psc_spo/psc-opm/opm-4/SitePages/OPM-4.aspx. Major changes include the following: addressing entry redundancy,
acknowledging board and panel views, and providing additional entry examples. Commands are highly encouraged to review these materials with their Wardrooms.
4. Prior to submitting a new CG-4082, members are encouraged to review their previous form in IPERMS to identify which entry items are still applicable and should be transferred to the new submission. The record can be accessed via the following link: https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/.
