Known Issue: Direct Access Excel Spreadsheet Viewing- work around

PRINT  |  E-MAIL

If your computer has migrated to Office 365/ The Cloud, you may experience issues viewing certain excel spreadsheets from Direct Access (web pages or excel 2003 version).

The current work around is:

  1. Save excel document to your desktop
  2. Use the Pixel Desktop Application, or other shortcut to open the DOD365 cloud or Microsoft Teams (easier).
  3. Find your file (usually located in the desktop section or where you saved it). You may need to add your email address for log in.
  4. View your information or save the file back to your desktop as a different file type, ex: workbook. It should open from your desktop fine after that for future use.
