What’s up at RDC? Research and Development Center Projects Update

In fiscal year 2024, the Coast Guard Research and Development Center in New London, Connecticut, supported a research portfolio of 46 projects, covering the full scope of the Coast Guard’s missions.  

This video highlights a few of those projects as well as work executed in fiscal year 2025, including maritime domain awareness for border security, border security research operational demonstration, mass rescue lifesaving appliance testing, unmanned ground vehicle evaluation for Arctic use and International Maritime Organization Polar Code validation through advanced simulation modeling.
