Video: HC-130H Departure Marks End of an Era


The Coast Guard accepted its 13th missionized HC-130J Super Hercules long range surveillance aircraft July 31, 2020. Minotaur Mission System Suite integration was completed at L3Harris Technologies in Waco, Texas.


The Coast Guard accepted its 14th C-130J April 27, 2020, from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, Georgia.


The Coast Guard accepted its 12th missionized HC-130J Super Hercules long range surveillance aircraft following installation of the Minotaur Mission System Suite Feb. 27, 2020. Integration was completed at L3 Technologies Inc. Integrated Systems Platform Integration Division in Waco, Texas.

Status

The Coast Guard engaged industry at the 2018 International Workboat Show Nov. 29, 2018 to provide an early look at the upcoming OTH-V project. During the presentation, program staff received several questions from industry. To ensure the widest release of this information, the Q&As have been posted here.


The Coast Guard released a request for information (RFI) Dec. 7, 2018, to gather additional information about the Over the Horizon V cutter boat acquisition. The RFI is available here


The Coast Guard on Aug. 30, 2018, awarded a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to MetalCraft Marine U.S. Incorporated of Cape Vincent, New York, for a fleet of cutter boats-large.

PROGRAM PROFILE

Long Range Interceptor-II

The LRI-II extends the NSC’s and other host vessels’ mission reach, providing high-speed pursuit, interdiction and rescue capabilities.
