Commandant Instruction Manual

 

 

Commandant Instruction Manual (CIM) is a permanent directive over 25 pages with enclosures. Manuals require a table of contents and must be organized by chapters and sections. When a manual imposes reporting requirements, they will appear in the prescribing LOP. Manuals must be reviewed every five years for content, and when the contents are no longer applicable the information is cancelled by the originator or a higher authority.
