Commandant Instructions

A Commandant Instruction is an enterprise-wide policy that incorporates laws, strategy, executive policy guidance, and other program direction for organizational implementation.  CIs are issued a 10-year expiration date and must be reviewed at minimum every 5-years using Directives, Publications, and Form Validation, CG-5215A for audit documentation. Commandant Instruction Manuals are being recategorized as Commandant Instructions as they are being republished.  In the meantime, ensure you check both Commandant Instruction and Commandant Instruction Manual lists.
