Regional Execution Division (RED)

We handle in-house design, A/E design and Design/Build oversite of the various projects managed by CEU Oakland.  During the design phase of the projects, RED engineers take the lead, performing site visits and talking to unit personnel to ensure the project scope effectively enhances and supports the lifesaving missions they perform every day.   Once the scope of the project is determined, we prepare the contract documents (specifications, drawings, cost estimates) required to solicit proposals from contractors to complete the work.  After the project moves to contracting and then construction, we assume more of a supporting role, providing expert review for Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals from the contractors selected to execute our projects.  RED is separated into two divisions, RED-A and RED-B, working in conjunction and often collaborating on larger projects.
