The Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) provides depot level maintenance, engineering, supply, logistics, and information services for all Coast Guard surface forces that includes over 200 cutters and over 1800 small boats.
Items procured: Service contracts to augment select industrial trades (painting, blasting, rigging, welding, shipfitting, tank cleaning, etc.), berthing for visiting cutters, paint, blast grit, steel plate, piping, electrical, etc.), drydock/dockside repairs for Coast Guard vessels, custodial, janitorial and facility maintenance services at Coast Guard Yard, overhaul, repair and purchase of turbines, medium and high speed diesel engines, reduction gears, winches, windlass and capstans, marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems, outboard motors, cranes and davits, propellers, pumps, valves, gasses (compressed and Liquefied), electrical motors, deck machinery, fuel, fuel oils, support services to augment program management, administrative, clerical, technical, engineering and technology support services, business, financial management and audit support services, and contract management support services.
