Located in the heart of Northeastern North Carolina, Base Elizabeth City provides world-class mission and personnel support to operational units across North Carolina, the Coast Guard’s largest aviation footprint, and military retirees and dependents. We enable missions with unmatched customer service through teamwork, communication, collaboration, technical proficiency and professionalism.
As the Coast Guard’s regional mission support entity in North Carolina, Base Elizabeth City delivers field support to Sector North Carolina, the National Strike Force Coordination Center, the National Strike Force Center of Expertise, and is home to five additional tenant commands, including the Aviation Logistics Center, Aviation Technical Training Center, Air Station Elizabeth City, Aviation Projects Acquisition Center, and Station Elizabeth City.
Comprised of seven departments, Base Elizabeth City integrates technical authority and service center business lines to provide pay and personnel management, medical and dental care, shipping and supply, procurement, warehousing, industrial services, facilities maintenance, computer and electronics support, as well as morale and recreational services.
Base Elizabeth City is also the proud home of the Coast Guard’s premier athletic event, the Coast Guard Marathon.
