OUR MISSION

Develop, coordinate and establish policy for military compensation, with particular focus on:

  • Pay

  • Allowances,

  • Travel entitlements

  • Transportation of household goods (HHG) and Global POV Shipments. 

Liaison with the Department of Defense in the preparation of policy concerning the HHG Shipping Program (DPS), DEERS/RAPIDS Program, Decedent Affairs, and the Debt Collections (waiver and remissions) process.

TDY for 181 or More Consecutive Days at One Location/Unit Request for Reserve Component (RC) Members:

TDY over 180 days should be requested and approved prior to travel and must be requested prior to being issued as PCS orders, this is IAW the JTR.  Requests need be submitted not less than 2 weeks at minimum for CG-1M12 to work the request (12-15 business days).  This will give us time research and prioritize our inbox based on urgency.  We receive a lot of requests.  Requests are worked first come first served based on priority and submission.  We are unable to provide status updates.  Please contact LOGCOM/AREA the request was submitted to for an update or guidance on the process/policy.  Incomplete requests will be returned for correction.  No action will be taken.

* Please note, CG-1M12 is unable to provide status updates.  Status updates will need to be requested to LOG-1/AREA-1.
** B2B short-term ADOS or Long-term ADOS (TDY) for over 180 days at one location/unit need to be submitted well in advance of the requested order start date.  Continuous urgent requests due to lack of planning will not be rushed.

TDY over 180 days at one location or unit (not back-to-back short-term ADOS): 

This would be applicable for when a Service member is TDY (on a TDY order / authorization) away from their PDS at one location or unit for more than 180 days.  Requests for a TDY that 181 or more consecutive days at one location should be made before travel to COMDT (CG-1M12).  The requests must be made in writing and contain justification for the length of the TDY.  When the TDY is 181 or more consecutive days without being authorized or approved, per diem stops on the 181st day (if applicable).
