“Building Networks & Relationships Across the Nation”
Outreach is defined as building greater Coast Guard awareness and support, especially in geographic areas and within organizations whose demographics will meet the needs of the service. The mission is to deploy Active Duty, Reserve, Civilian, Recruiters and Auxiliary members into minority communities to increase America's understanding and awareness of the Coast Guard as an employer of choice.
The Diversity Outreach Manager manages the program for the U.S. Coast Guard with the purpose of establishing and sustaining partnerships on a national level with organizations, schools and communities that support the U.S. Coast Guard’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan 2019-2023 goals and initiatives.
