The Office of Leadership (CG-128) is proud to announce the winners of the 2020 Inspirational Leadership Awards. These annual awards recognize Coast Guard active duty, and reserve duty enlisted members, officers, and civilian employees that best exemplify the Coast Guard's core values of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty for the 2019 calendar year.
In early 2020, a seven-member panel thoroughly deliberated 103 nomination packages submitted for eight Inspirational Leadership Award categories. All award nominees demonstrated the ability to inspire others while advancing the Coast Guard's outstanding service to the nation through dedication to duty and leading by example.
The following 2020 Inspirational Leadership Award winners consistently exhibited exceptional actions and leadership skills that motivate and inspire personnel to strive for excellence and achieve measurable results that contribute to the success of the Coast Guard:
