Under the general direction and supervision of the Base Commanding Officer, and in accordance with the Field Support Concept of Operations as well as, written guidance promulgated by SILC/CG-8, the Comptroller shall execute the following functions for Base and regional commands.

• Oversee, provide, and direct comptroller and logistics service support.
• Serve as the principal advisor to the Base Commanding Officer on matters relating to fiscal policy, Base budget development and Base funds execution.
• Ensure the preparation of and the accurate submission of all financial reports.
• Ensure all base account balances are maintained as prescribed by existing statues and CFO policies, and
• Provide technical assistance and audit function to the Personnel Support Department in regard to Morale, Well-Being, and Recreation (MWR) program.
