The Eighth Coast Guard Districts Regional MWR Director’s office is attached to CG Base NOLA. The Director provides MWR program policy guidance to the field units. The sporting and shipmate fund grant programs are a couple of the popular programs managed through this office. Proceeds from our CG Exchange are distributed through the Director to the field units from HQ, USCG Community Services Command. All quarterly morale fund financial statements are audited by the Director. CG Commands and their MWR appointed officers and their committees are encouraged to contact the Director directly.
