Blended Retirement System (BRS) Comparison Calculator is Available
The official comparison calculator is available at http://militarypay.defense.gov/calculators/BRS/ and should be the only calculator used by service members as other tools may not have received adequate vetting.

Changes to Retiree ID Renewal Rules
Homeland Security Directive 12 now requires retirees and family members seeking to renew or replace a military identification card to provide two types of ID
Civilian exemption for required use of the Travel Management Center (TMC) for conference lodging
Per recent changes, civilian employees are no longer required to use our TMC (ADTRAV) to make lodging reservations for conferences when the conference sponsor has negotiated and set aside rooms at one or more lodging facilities. This exemption already existed for military personnel.
