Subscribers to this list will receive notices and information on Coast Guard military pay and personnel policy and procedures. Subscribers will also be notified when active duty and reserve payslips are posted and of both scheduled and unscheduled outages affecting the Direct Access personnel system or the TPAX travel claim liquidation system. Additionally, subscribers will be updated when important information is posted to the Pay and Personnel Center's internet site.

Advance Preparations for Upcoming Limited Availability to Direct Access
Direct Access will not be available from Monday, December 19, 2022 at 23:01 PM (CST ) until Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at 22:59 PM (CST). This outage is necessary to ensure members' pay and benefits are updated to reflect the 2023 pay rates and other regulatory changes, which include COLA, BAH, and tax rates. See ALCOAST 455/22 for more information.

Continued Suspension of CPOA Requirement for Advancement
CPOA sessions have returned to full capacity after COVID-19
closures, but a significant backlog of students will exist in the
short-term future. Until the backlog is resolved, members already
advanced to E-7 will receive the highest priority to allow them to
compete for E-8. Members above the cutoff for E-7 must follow
existing procedures to request CPOA and be ready to attend upon a
space available basis.
