ATTENTION: Direct Access/FSMS interface is fully operational, and commands can execute PCS orders following standard operating procedures. Please keep in mind as members begin work on processing PCS transactions, the Coast Guard Direct Access my encounter performance issues such as system latency. To mitigate these challenges please take the following steps:

  • For any order in an “Awaiting $” status, please “Resubmit Order” in the funding tab to initiate a Funds Check with FSMS.
  • Important: Wait for approximately 10 minutes, then validate the funds check status (order will need to be refreshed). If the order remains in “Awaiting $” status, DO NOT immediately attempt to resubmit. This will potentially overload FSMS/DA connectivity. Please wait until next business day and then “Resubmit Order” again. If, after the second try (on second day), and the order remains in “Awaiting $” status, submit a Customer Care ticket to PPC.
  • P&A's must validate Transportation Accounting Codes on printable orders (at this time, PPC cannot validate OCONUS specific TACs on orders). If the TACs are missing from printable orders, P&As shall manually enter them into the notes section of the orders:

OCONUS TACs- NTS: ZRAO / POV: ZVRO / HHG: ZRAO

CONUS TACs- NTS: ZNTC / POV: ZVTC / HHG: ZTGC
