What Are Your TRICARE Pharmacy Options Overseas?

Do you live overseas? Got questions about how to fill your prescriptions? If you're enrolled in a TRICARE Overseas Program plan, you have access to the same TRICARE Pharmacy Program as stateside. This means you can fill your prescriptions through military pharmacies, TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery, TRICARE retail network pharmacies, and non-network pharmacies. But there are some limits for filling prescriptions overseas.

In the next few weeks, we will initiate the Child Care Needs Assessment Survey. At no time in recent history have the challenges of balancing child care responsibilities with Coast Guard duties and the workplace been greater. The 2020 Child Care Needs Assessment was contracted before we felt the impacts of COVID-19, but couldn’t have been more timely in helping us capture the impacts of child care on morale, retention and performance. This assessment and survey will help establish the foundation of current concerns and provide recommendations for review and action by the Child Development Services Program (CG-1112).

TRICARE Dental Program Enrollees Receive Annual Maximum Increase

​In response to COVID-19, the annual maximum for TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) enrollees was raised. TDP enrollees now have an additional $300 of coverage for their dental care this contract year. The contract year runs from May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021. It's the latest of recent TRICARE changes introduced to improve your access to care during the national emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic.

2021 Senior Enlisted Continuation Board TimeLine

​ALCGENL message 136/20 provides a timeline and amplifying guidance for the 2021 SECB. Similar to High Year Tenure (HYT), the title denotes the year in which the non-continued members must retire. For the 2021 SECB, active duty enlisted members in paygrades E-7 to E-9 shall become candidates for SECB when they have greater than or equal to 20 years, but less than 21 years of active military service, and greater than or equal to 25 years, but less than 26 years of active military service, on 31 December 2020.
