PPC Call Center Phone Contact Update

Effective Monday, 11 May 2020, PPC's Call Center will resume taking live phone calls.  

The phone number for PPC Customer Care is 1-866-772-8724 and the hours of operation are 0700 - 1600 Central Time.

All customers are encouraged to submit trouble tickets through electronic means, if possible. You can submit a trouble ticket by emailing PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. Special Needs Program Enrollment Reminder

​The Special Needs Program is a mandatory enrollment program for all active duty (AD) and selected reserve members on orders for 181 days or more. Members must enroll in the Special Needs Program if they have family members who meet enrollment criteria listed in Special Needs Program, COMDTINST 1754.7 (series)​​.

Direct-Access Update - Isolation Leave

We added a new leave type, "Isolation Leave" to DA. Leave type is available under "delay enroute" in PCS orders and also as a "non-chargeable absence". If a member has CG SMR running and goes on "Isolation Leave", DA will automatically credit back the meal charges to the member. Members that will continue to have meals provided by the government should not be put on "Isolation Leave". Both PCS and Non-Chargeable Leave procedural guides have been updated.

ALCOAST 204/20 announces a temporary change to the Joint Travel Regulations, affecting Personally Procured Moves (PPM) (formerly known as DITY moves). The temporary changes described in this message went into effect on 26 May 2020 and expire on 31 December 2020.

Travel Restrictions Delay Return to Service of AMHS Mainline Vessels

The Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) is developing a reduced service operating plan for spring and early summer to provide an appropriate level of service based on passenger demand, crew availability, and state and federal guidelines for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
