The Coast Guard facilitated the fourth annual Spartan User Group (SUG) conference, held this year at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., July 31 to Aug. 3, 2017. The conference gives the 12 nations that operate C-27Js an opportunity to build relationships and discuss issues relating to the aircraft’s operation. Besides the Coast Guard, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command and the air forces of Australia, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Peru and Romania attended the conference. Each organization presented information about the status of its C-27J operations and logistics.
