Celebrating 235 years of Coast Guard service to the nation

Each Aug. 4, the nation comes together to celebrate the founding of the U.S. Coast Guard and the many missions that the service delivers on behalf of the American people. The military, civilian and contracting workforce of the Systems Integration Directorate are dedicated to delivering and sustaining mission performance to the greatest coast guard in the world. The U.S. Coast Guard’s mission capabilities – saving lives, interdicting smugglers and illegal aliens, enforcing our nation’s laws and treaties, and protecting our ports and natural resources – derive from the readiness of our fleets of cutters, boats, aircraft and the C5ISR systems and shore infrastructure that link them together.

Happy 235th birthday and Happy Coast Guard Day 2025!
