Sept. 22, 2025 —
The Coast Guard is holding an industry day Oct. 7 to engage with industry about the service’s needs for potential modernization of its human resources information technology (HRIT) system and architecture. The scope of the HRIT requirements, identified challenges and goals of the program will be shared at the event. This is a follow-up to a previously posted request for information.
The industry day will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. EDT at the Coast Guard’s C5I facility in Kearneysville, West Virginia, located at 408 Coast Guard Drive. Questions should be submitted in advance to allow the Coast Guard to prepare comprehensive answers. The industry day will be recorded and/or transcribed and publicly posted.
There are a limited number of one-on-one vendor sessions available following the event; those who want to schedule an individual session should note that on the registration form. These sessions will provide interested vendors with an opportunity to share potential proprietary solutions/services information and allow the government to ask the vendor specific questions. These sessions are not a platform for vendor promotion.
The full notice about the industry day is available here. Registration deadline is 4 p.m. EDT Sept. 23.
