On Nov. 14, the Coast Guard published a request for information (RFI) seeking information on commercial solutions with integrated artificial intelligence (AI) capability that could enhance the efficiency and quality of the service’s contracting, procurement and acquisition program management process.
To successfully deliver the full scope of planned services and capabilities funded through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the Coast Guard requires an agile and responsive contracting, procurement and acquisition solution that eliminates unnecessary and time-intensive processes, strengthens oversight and visibility, and improves cost and schedule outcomes.
The Coast Guard envisions an enterprise capability that utilizes commercial off-the-shelf solutions and AI to improve data management, remove disparate and redundant processes and automate and standardize workflows to enhance enterprise efficiency. Responses on scoping for status tracking visibility and enhanced planning capabilities are also desired.
The RFI is available here. Responses are due no later than 3 p.m. EDT on Nov. 25, 2025.
