The Coast Guard invites local and regional vendors to attend an industry information day focused on providing guidance on Coast Guard contracting opportunities and fostering new community relationships at Training Center Birmingham-Southern.
The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. CDT on Aug. 6 at Boutwell Auditorium Exhibition Hall, 1930 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd. in Birmingham, Alabama. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. On-site parking is available.
Industry participants will gain valuable insight into competing for Coast Guard construction and services contracts, including an overview of the government contracting process and how to register for the System for Award Management website (SAM.gov). Attendees will hear from Coast Guard and Small Business Administration representatives and have the opportunity to ask questions.
