Administrative Separation, Reenlistment Boards and CPO Reduction Boards Programs

Consultation with SJA and CG PSC-EPM-1/RPM-1

The advice and support provided by the SJA and PSC-EPM-1/RPM-1 are technical and procedural, addressing matters such as adequacy of documentation and Service-wide application of military personnel policy. The responsibility for weighing the performance and conduct of individual Coast Guard enlisted members and determining whether Coast Guard policy permits or requires that an administrative board be convened rests solely with the convening authorities in that member’s chain of command.
 
Use the Notice to Respondent & Exercise of Rights when preparing the board documents. All templates are found in the links below.  Prior to initiating the Board, the two templates, Notice to Respondent & Exercise of Rights, and all other supporting documentation for separation, reenlistment, and CPO reduction are to be sent to EPM-1 at HQS-SMB-CGPSC-EPM-1-Separations@uscg.mil or RPM-1 at HQS-SMB-CGPSC-RPM-1-Status@uscg.mil.
