- Interview with the Deputy Commandant for Mission Support
Vice Adm. Paul Thomas will discuss the mission support enterprise and current priorities. Thomas is responsible for all facets of support for the Coast Guard’s diverse mission set through oversight of human capital, lifecycle engineering and logistics, acquisitions, information technology and security. Questions from the audience will follow.

- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
This discussion will explore areas where the Coast Guard is pursing and using AI. The talk will touch on the Coast Guard’s unique set of responsibilities as a public safety agency, regulatory agency and law enforcement agency as well as the implications for the Coast Guard’s use of data and AI regarding ethics and public trust.

- Interview with the Atlantic Area Commander
Vice Adm. Steven D. Poulin will discuss the Coast Guard operational landscape and current priorities within the Atlantic Area. Poulin serves as the operational commander for all Coast Guard missions from the Rocky Mountains to the Arabian Gulf, spanning across five Coast Guard Districts and 40 states. He also serves as Commander, Coast Guard Defense Force East and Director, Department of Homeland Security Joint Task Force – East. Questions from the audience will follow.
