1. This ALCOAST announces the promulgation of REF (A) and the
cancellation of REFs (B) and (C).
2. Changes in this update include:
a. New instruction title;
b. REF (A) incorporates contents of REF (C) to include
acknowledgement of indirect FTS positions and an enclosure with
a list of direct support positions;
c. Coast Guard Reserve governance reorganized into the
Assistant Commandant for Reserve (CG-R);
d. Update to RFRS staff elements and clarity of roles and
responsibilities across RFRS;
e. Retitles Reserve Program Administrator (RPA) to Reserve
Component Manager (RCM).
3. POC: COMDT (CG-R55), COMDT-CGR55Policy-SMB-Access@uscg.mil.
4. RADM Tiffany G. Danko, Assistant Commandant for Reserve (CG-R),
sends.
5. Internet release is authorized.
