Coast Guard celebrates completion of training as part of cutter transfer to Ukraine

The Coast Guard Office of International Acquisition recognized 16 members of the Ukrainian Navy in a ceremony Oct. 22, 2021, at Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore. The Ukrainian crew just completed a rigorous six-week training program as part of the transfer of a 110-foot Island Class patrol boat to Ukraine.

Coast Guard delivers 11th Minotaur-missionized HC-144 to fleet

The Coast Guard accepted delivery of its 11th HC-144B Ocean Sentry medium range surveillance aircraft outfitted with both the Ocean Sentry Refresh (OSR) modifications and the Minotaur mission system Oct. 12. Modifications to CGNR 2311 were completed at the Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The aircraft will be based at Air Station Miami.
