As part of the Coast Guard’s efforts to equip the service’s C-27J Spartan medium range surveillance aircraft with components that further enhance mission capability, the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract May 7 to Telephonics Corporation of Farmingdale, New York, for up to 19 Multi-Mode Radar systems.

The Coast Guard accepted delivery of the 27th fast response cutter (FRC), Richard Snyder, in Key West, Florida, yesterday.
