DIRECT ACCESS OUTAGE PREPARATION

Starting 0600 EST, Friday, October 13, 2023, there will be no availability to Direct Access while tasks are being performed to support the Disaster Recovery Test. Direct Access is scheduled to be reactivated at 0600 EST, Monday, October 16, 2023. This outage is necessary to avoid the submission of self-service and SPO transactions during the test. 2023 Continental U.S. (CONUS) Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) Rates

CONUS COLA Calculator UPDATED: 12/22/2022 with the rates for 2023. CALIFORNIA - San Francisco 1%. MASSACHUSETTS - Essex County 1%, Hampden County 1%, and Martha's Vineyard 3%. Michigan - Detroit 1%. NEW YORK - New York City 8% and Staten Island 1%.

Flag Voice 593 - Basic Allowance for Housing & Basic Allowance for Subsistence—2023 Rates Released

Last week, 2023 Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS) and Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) rates were announced. In most areas, BAH will increase for our members; BAS will also increase for both officers and enlisted members. CONUS Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) rates will be published soon. I want to provide some context to help you ensure your members’ understanding of BAH, BAS, and COLA.

2023 Adjustments to Retired/Retainer Pay, Survivor Annuities and Premiums

The following Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLAs) are effective December 1, 2023, based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) through the third quarter of the calendar year 2022. The term "retired pay" includes retainer pay and the term "members" includes former members.
