Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) is a non-profit organization providing financial assistance to the Coast Guard community. CGMA is administered by the Board of Control located at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC, Regional Directors in various CGMA regions throughout the country, and Representatives at selected duty stations.
CGMA strives to promote financial stability and general well being of the people it serves.

Through partnerships with other assistance providers, we deliver innovative financial assistance in response to emerging Coast Guard family needs. PSD Mutual Assistance
PSD provides Mutual Assistance to members in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We have five CGMA assistants and one supervisor to help members needing support. Please use the following email address for all CGMA requests: D11-SMB-BASEAla-CGMA or call 510-437-3793.
Please provide the required application form (see support documentation link below), a recent copy of your Payslip, and appropriate support documentation validating a need for CGMA assistance.
** Note: The CGMA Application for assistance form must include a supervisor and a command endorsement. A CGMA-15 budget form must accompany all loan requests that exceed $1000.00.
