Direct Access (DA) will not be available from 9:00 PM (Central Time) on Thursday, March 4, 2021 until 1:00 AM (Central Time), Friday, March 5, 2021. The system will be offline for routine server maintenance.
Subscribers to this list will receive notices and information on Coast Guard military pay and personnel policy and procedures. Subscribers will also be notified when active duty and reserve payslips are posted and of both scheduled and unscheduled outages affecting the Direct Access personnel system or the TPAX travel claim liquidation system. Reservists: new Selected Reserve bonus of up to $10k
The Office of Reserve Resource Management has re-engineered the Selected Reserve (SELRES) bonus process and there are currently approximately 800 reservists who may be eligible for a bonus.

Electronics Technician (ET) Bonuses
ACN 018/21 announces the authorization of an Enlistment Bonus (EB) and Critical Skills Training Bonus (CSTB). Bonuses are authorized for eligible members with an ET Class A-School convening date after 30 SEP 2020. Members who are currently in ET Class A-school or have graduated, with a class convening date after 30 SEP 2020, must engage with their servicing SPO or Admin shop for bonus determination and obligated service requirements.

Know when to reenlist for eligible SRB
Changes are being implemented regarding when an enlisted member can reenlist for a selective reenlistment bonus (SRB). Starting this year, any member eligible for a SRB will be allowed to reenlist beginning Oct. 1, 2020 (FY21) or anytime within the fiscal year their enlistment expires. Additionally, the pro-rated calculation for current obligated service is no longer applied. Members who reenlisted for an SRB will be entitled to the full bonus amount. Members will no longer be constrained by the three month reenlistment policy, and is now expanded to the entire fiscal year in which your enlistment expires.

Reserve Bonus and Special Pay Programs for Fiscal Year 2021
Per ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice 109/20, effective 1 October 2020, the following SELRES bonuses and special pays are authorized. ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice 110/20 announces a bonus offer for eligible physician assistants who commission and affiliate with the Coast Guard SELRES as a designated DCPA to serve in a Port Security Unit (PSU) reserve physician assistant billet (Officer Specialty Code PHA10).

FY 2019 Critical Skills Retention Bonus (CSRB) Announced
ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice 133/18 announced FY 2019 Critical Skills Retention Bonus (CSRB) for fully qualified active duty, enlisted personnel in pay grades E4-E7 that are exclusively serving CGCYBER assignments in Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) or Cyber Protection Team (CPT).

Fiscal Year 2019 Aviation Incentive Pay and Aviation Bonus Program Changes
This message introduces two interventions recommended by the Officer Workforce Planning Team (OWPT) that are necessary to support Coast Guard missions and maintain aviation workforce readiness. (1) Rate increases to Aviation Incentive Pay (AvIP), which will go into effect on 01 OCT 2018. (2) The CY2019 Aviation Bonus (AvB) Program, rates and criteria. The CY19 AvB targets retention of Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing aircraft commanders with critical skill sets.
Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Enlisted Bonus Programs
This ACN announces the results of the Enlisted Workforce Planning Team (EWPT). The EWPT convened from 11-12 June 2018 to deliberate and recommend workforce policy interventions to the Assistant Commandant for Human Resources (CG-1). Interventions include non-monetary policy changes, Enlistment Bonuses (EB), Critical Skills Training Bonuses (CSTB), Selective Reenlistment Bonuses (SRB), and Critical Skills Retention Bonuses (CSRB).
