Effective Monday, 11 May 2020, PPC's Call Center will resume taking live phone calls.  

The phone number for PPC Customer Care is 1-866-772-8724 and the hours of operation are 0700 - 1600 Central Time.

All customers are encouraged to submit trouble tickets through electronic means, if possible. You can submit a trouble ticket by emailing PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. The Defense Travel Management Office has updated the following information for 01 August 2020:

Hardship Duty Pay-Restriction of Movement and other COVID-19 Pay and Allowances

ALCOAST 278/20 formally authorizes, as of 03 April 2020, HARDSHIP DUTY PAY-RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT (HDP-ROM) and other temporary policy changes for several travel allowance, Food Service policy, and certain Special & Incentive (S&I) pays as part of the overall military effort to support our members and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pay and Personnel Center is now processing these claims in accordance with the following guidelines and procedures.

Supplemental Clothing Allowance for Reduced Initial Seabag Issue

ALCOAST 099/20 announced that reduced initial seabags were being issued at accession points (Cape May/Academy). To account for this, we have created a new "Type" of Supplemental Clothing Allowance. For a member that is issued a reduced seabag, enter a Supplemental Clothing Allowance transaction and select "Reduced Initial Sea Bag" from the "Type". This will mostly impact the accession points, but if someone is missed, the servicing SPO may need to enter the transaction.

New pay and allowances to help you through COVID-19

Several new pay and allowances are now available to members and their dependents. These entitlements are part of the overall military effort to support our members during the COVID-19 pandemic, and include: Isolation Allowance, Hardship Duty Pay – Restriction of Movement, COVID-19 Related Galley Meals, Basic Allowance for Subsistence II (BAS-II), Continuation of Special and Incentive Pays, and, Family Stability Act (BAH and Housing Flexibility).

FY-2020 Non-Rate Enlistment Bonus and Non-Rate Quick-Ship Bonus

ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice 020/19 announced a $2,000 non-rate Enlistment Bonus (EB) for new applicants recruited after 30 JAN 2020 into active duty and a $5,000 Quick-Ship (QS) non-rate EB for all recruits slated into a Recruit Training company between 01 Feb 2020 and 31 May 2020 exclusively. Selected applicants may receive both a $2,000 non-rate EB and a $5,000 QS non-rate EB if they meet all eligibility requirements.

2020 Continental United States (CONUS) Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) Locations

CONUS COLA is a taxable supplemental allowance designed to help offset higher prices in the highest cost locations in CONUS that exceed the costs in an average CONUS location by 8 percent or more. The program affects approximately 20,000 Service members in 16 Military Housing Areas (MHAs) and 31 other counties in CONUS.
