​Reserve Assignments Branch (RPM-2)

  • Assignments: PSC-RPM-2 is the sole authority for permanent change of station (PCS) assignments for Coast Guard members serving in the Selected Reserve (SELRES).
  • Command Concerns: PSC-RPM-2 collects and manages Assignment Year Command Concerns. Timeframes for submission are included in the ALCGRSV Assignment Year (AY) Kickoff Messages.
  • Reserve "A" Schools: PSC-RPM-2 manages Reserve "A" school requests.
  • ADOS Management: PSC-RPM-2 manages Long term, “Non-contingency” ADOS in accordance with COMDTINST 1330.1D 
  • Reserve Personnel Career Counseling (RPCC)

Services Provided by Other Divisions/Branches

  • Long Term Contingency and Short term ADOS requests are managed by the PSD Surge Staffing Branch and the Director of Operational Logistics (DOL-1). Additional guidance is available via the PSD Surge Staffing Branch Website, PSD Surge Staffing Branch Portal Page, and the DOL-1 Portal Page.
  • Transfers of officers and enlisted personnel to and from the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), Active Status List (ASL), and Inactive Status List (ISL) are managed by the Reserve Component Management Branch, PSC-RPM-1 and the Reserve Personnel Services Branch, PSC-RPM-3.
  • Extended Active Duty (EAD) requests are managed by CG PSC-OPM-1 for officers and PSC-EPM-1 for enlisted members.
  • PAL Reprogramming Review (PRR) requests are managed by CG-833 and specific guidance is released annually via ALCGFINANCE message. Additional guidance is available via the CG-833 SARR CG Portal Page
