PPC Call Center Phone Contact Update

Effective Monday, 11 May 2020, PPC's Call Center will resume taking live phone calls.  

The phone number for PPC Customer Care is 1-866-772-8724 and the hours of operation are 0700 - 1600 Central Time.

All customers are encouraged to submit trouble tickets through electronic means, if possible. You can submit a trouble ticket by emailing PPC-DG-CustomerCare@uscg.mil. For those with CG Portal access, you can submit the online trouble ticket form found at https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/units/ppc/SitePages/Contact Us.aspx. Thank you!

Coast Guard URM Study: Career Perspectives

Thank you for your support thus far for the Coast Guard Holistic Study & Analysis for Recruiting & Retention of Underrepresented Minorities (URM Study, first introduced in ALCOAST 337/19). The focus group phase of research was completed in February 2020, after 109 focus group sessions at units in New York, Alameda, Miami Beach, New Orleans, Portsmouth, and Washington, DC. Based upon initial qualitative data, RAND researchers have created a service-wide online survey, which will serve as the next step in this important project.

FY-2020 Non-Rate Enlistment Bonus and Non-Rate Quick-Ship Bonus

ALCOAST Commandant Change Notice 020/19 announced a $2,000 non-rate Enlistment Bonus (EB) for new applicants recruited after 30 JAN 2020 into active duty and a $5,000 Quick-Ship (QS) non-rate EB for all recruits slated into a Recruit Training company between 01 Feb 2020 and 31 May 2020 exclusively. Selected applicants may receive both a $2,000 non-rate EB and a $5,000 QS non-rate EB if they meet all eligibility requirements.
